Watts Close

MKMetals Ltd has been selected to provide architectural metalwork, which encompasses balconies, railings, balustrades, and more, for the development at Watts Close.

This initiative is part of Haringey Council's forward-thinking strategy to create a new generation of council housing for local residents, with a focus on utilizing land owned by the borough for these developments.

The redevelopment of this infill site will replace 11 abandoned bungalows and a community hall with 12 flats and six family homes designated for social rent. The new residential units will feature a combination of semi-detached and terraced designs, while the apartments will be organized into two separate blocks. The overall design aims to seamlessly integrate the site into the surrounding urban environment, ensuring that the scale and appearance of the buildings harmonize with the existing neighborhood.

 

Additionally, the project will include necessary infrastructure improvements, landscaping, and the establishment of facilities for bicycle and refuse storage.
