MKMetals Ltd has been selected to undertake the architectural metalwork for the refurbishment of the existing staircase, handrails, and balustrade, as well as the installation of new staircases, handrails, and balustrades at Aviator 1. This project involves transforming a vacant office building in Addlestone, Surrey, into 174 residential units.

The team at MKMetals Ltd takes pride in contributing to the alleviation of the housing shortage faced throughout the UK. The redevelopment will feature a mix of living spaces, including four studio apartments, 158 one-bedroom apartments, and 12 two-bedroom apartments, complemented by communal areas and a total of 235 parking spaces.

To enhance the overall capacity of the building, two additional floors will be added, thereby increasing the number of housing units available in the market. This initiative not only aims to provide quality living accommodations but also to support the growing demand for housing in the region.
