Dacre Lakeside Park

​At the picturesque Dacre Lakeside Park, our team at MKMetals Ltd has successfully designed and installed a new Abodo Wood Timber deck for a 65-foot park home.

 

Continuing our commitment to providing premium engineered timber solutions for the caravan and park home sector, we have developed an innovative modular design that delivers timber decking and sun decks to caravan and park owners throughout the UK.

 

This particular project was tailored for a 65-foot Retreat park home. The decking frame is constructed from spruce, treated to Use Class 4 to ensure durability against weather, insect damage, and rot.

 

This modular frame is fabricated off-site in our workshop, adhering to the precise specifications of the park home, consisting of eight modules in total—four positioned at the front and four extending along the length of the home to the entrance.

 

Each module features adjustable threaded insert feet at the base of the timbers, facilitating quick and easy leveling on-site.

 

These feet also elevate the timber above the ground, enhancing the longevity of the uprights.

 

Additionally, the design of the park home decking offers optional features such as access steps and glass balustrades at the front of the home.
