Wemyss Bay

The client's request for this project involved constructing a wraparound deck for the lodge, which would also feature a hot tub. We ensured that the front of the deck included clear view glass to maximize the stunning sea vistas, complemented by post cap lighting for added ambiance.

One of the primary challenges we faced was determining the optimal placement for the hot tub. Rather than positioning it on top of or recessed into the deck, we opted to create a low-level enclosed space for the hot tub, incorporating glass panels to maintain the sea view.

 

To enhance privacy for the client's guests, we designed screens at the back of the hot tub area.

 

The result is a breathtaking lodge deck that seamlessly integrates the low-level hot tub with privacy screens and glass balustrades.

 

The soft post cap lighting provides an elegant touch, creating a serene atmosphere for enjoying the sea views while relaxing in the hot tub at night.
